XML might seem old-school, but it's still hugely important. RSS feeds, Microsoft Office files, many APIs - they all use XML. Understanding it is genuinely useful.

The Formatting Thing

Like JSON, raw XML is pretty much unreadable. A good formatter makes it nice and indented, showing you the structure clearly. Essential for debugging!

I was surprised how often I needed XML formatting. It's one of those tools you don't think about until suddenly you really, really need it.
