The Tag Soup Problem
XML is great for structured data, but looking at raw XML is painful. All those nested tags, no indentation, one giant line of text. It's basically unreadable!
That's where an XML formatter comes in. It adds proper indentation, line breaks, and color coding. Suddenly you can actually see the structure.
Validation Matters
Good XML formatters also validate your XML. They'll tell you exactly where you have a missing closing tag or a syntax error. This is a lifesaver when debugging!
